Adult Education/GED Preparation program is designed for participant to attain education levels equivalent to those of high school graduates. The program provides an opportunity to develop a better quality of life, work and enhance literacy skills with a sense of accomplishment. The program prepares students to successfully take and pass the GED test. Upon passing the GED Test, participants are prepared to pursue personal goals, such as training, employment, postsecondary education and/or career advancement. GED Preparation classes are free of charge. Enrollment in the Adult Education program is all year round and classes are held in an open entry-open exit format on Monday-Thursday from 9:00 am-12:00 pm, 1:00 pm-4:00 pm, and 5:00 pm-8:00 pm. GED orientation is held every 1st and 3rd Friday from 9:30 am-12:00 pm. Students must complete the following: Attend an intake/Enrollment Session, TABE testing, and meet with a Career navigator prior to being scheduled for classes. Intake/Enrollment and TABE testing is every Tuesday from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
