The end goal of this workshop is to provide students with the knowledge and ability to turn their ideas into a 3D printed object! The workshop is comprised of the following technical areas:

 

  • CAD Design: Learning to create 3D models on Fusion 360

  • Slicing: Taking their models and converting them into an "instruction manual” that the printer reads to create their model

  • 3D Printing: Basics of printer operation and maintenance
