This accelerated course will teach useful state-of-the-art skills in the shortest possible
timeframe. The Machinist course will introduce and expose participants to the field of
machine technology and is delivered in a two-stage process. Course elements of Stage 1 include
OSHA, Pre-apprentice skills 1, Blueprint Reading, Machining and Metrology. Course elements of
Stage 2 include Precision Machining, CNC Lathe and Mill, Mastercam and Work Life Skills.
This course is a total of 376 hours.
